PE DATES

  • Yr. 6 Camp ~ Monday 18th – Wednesday 20th November @ Camp Marysville. (All Yr. 6 classes)
  • Yr. 5 Camp ~ Wednesday 20th – Friday 22nd November @ Camp Marysville. (All Yr. 5 classes)
  • Yr. 4 Bike Education Program ~ Monday 25th – Friday 29th November @ Milgate PS. (All Yr. 4 classes)

Eastern Region Girls Softball

On Monday 11th November the girls’ softball team competed at the Eastern Region Softball Championships. The girls played extremely well and were top of their pool after 3 games. They then played 2nd place from the other pool in the semi-final, which they won by 2 runs. This then put them through to the grand final to play off for 1st & 2nd place. They played Mt View PS in the grand final and it was a great game, and the girls showed terrific sportsmanship. They lost to Mt View, but nothing to be disappointed by, as this put them in 2nd place in Eastern Region. (this means they are the 2nd best Girls Softball team out of over 400 school in Eastern Region). Congratulations girls and you should be proud of everything you have achieved.

Foundation – YR 2 House Sports

We had a fantastic morning for the Foundation – Yr. 2 House Sports on Tuesday 12th November. It was so fantastic to see everyone getting into the spirit of the morning, by wearing their house colours, trying their best and showing great sportsmanship. Many thanks to all the Foundation – Yr. 2 teachers, parent helpers & Mrs. Collins for making the morning such a huge success. The results were as follows:

  • 1st place ~ McCubbin
  • 2nd place ~ Streeton
  • 3rd place ~ Roberts
  • 4th place ~ Boyd

YR 4 Bike Education Program

During the week on Monday 25th – Friday 29th November, all the Yr. 4 students will be participating in a weeklong Bike Education Program. The first four days of the program will be based at Milgate PS and the students will practice their riding skills both on and off the school grounds. All riding outside the school will be on footpaths or bike tracks. On the Friday will ride from Milgate to Westerfolds Park along the Mullum Mullum Trail and Main Yarra Trails.
