Annual Colony 47 Christmas Appeal
Every year Colony 47 offers a free community lunch in Hobart on Christmas Day for some 400 people and distributes more than 800 gifts around the state for Neighborhood Houses and via local councils.
This year Colony 47 is asking for donations of gifts/items suitable for children 12 years old and under. Donation ideas could include toys, games, books, toiletries, school and stationery supplies, arts & craft supplies and sporting equipment.
Students and their families can support this initiative by bringing in donations to their nearest School office, Main Reception or Senior School Library until Wednesday 4 December, or to the Giving Tree in The Farrall Centre Upper Level Foyer at the End of Year Gathering on the Wednesday evening (4 December).
