Wellbeing Wrap Up
We love the way our students follow our School Wide Positive Behaviour matrix to maximise their social development, academic learning and relationships with peers and adults alike.
Students earn hole punches for making good choices in their classroom, specialist classes and on the playground under the categories of Be Safe, Be Respectful and Be Our Best. When they earn ten hole punches in one category, they contribute one star to our jar.
We discuss the matrix each TRIBES session and undertake activities to develop these skills.
Recently, we filled our school jar courtesy of our student stars. As a result we had a whole school celebration which was decided by student votes. Our Prep-2 students had a PJ day and watched a movie together, our Year 3 and 4 students played at Ruffey Lake Park and our Year 5 and 6 students went to Doncaster Shoppingtown Food Court.
Please see some photos from the experience.
Our Prep-2 students listened respectfully and enjoyed coming to school in their PJ's.
Our Year 3-4 students shared equipment, were inclusive and had a great attitude.
Year 5 and 6 visiting Doncaster Shoppingtown. Our students were respectful, well behaved and had a good time.
