Year 6
It has been a busy few weeks in Year 6 as our wonderful students prepare for graduation. Each student deserves to be proud of their efforts and contribution to our ceremony. We loved the way the students all supported each other and showed our school values. The Year 6 students worked together to present a dance to the song Counting Stars by One Republic. It was very special to have two former DPS students, Paarth and Chrissy, return to present a speech with advice for high school. We know our students are ready to make the most of the opportunities at high school.
Here are some student comments about the evening-
Aryana- graduation went very well. The food great and it all went as planned. I had a lot of fun sitting with my friends. I was very excited when I received the certificate for the art award. I was also very happy for the other winners. The dance was the best part and lots of people recorded us.
Arnav- graduation went nicely. I really liked desert which was chocolate moose. It was fun sitting with friends and talking about what's going to happen at high school. We were all happy and cheering for different friends who got awards. The dance was smooth.
Anwin- I enjoyed seeing all my friends getting together- laughing and having chats. Personally, I felt I had a good night. The dance was smooth and went well. The audience were very supportive.
