Newlands PS Art Show – Unidos En Art
We are excited to announce that Newlands Primary School will be hosting our biannual Art Show on Friday 17th October, from 4:30–6:30pm. Please note that gates open at 4:15pm, entry is via Elizabeth Street. This special event will showcase the incredible creativity of our students and bring our community together through art, music and fun.
Entry to the event is ticket only and they are currently available through Humanix for $20 per family. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please contact the school office for assistance. Please click on the link below or scan the QR to purchase your tickets.
All proceeds from the ticket sales will go towards funding a brand new kiln for the Art Room, which will also enrich our STEAM and Community Inquiry programs by allowing students to experience the full process of clay creation—shaping, glazing, and firing—while fostering creativity, problem-solving, and cultural exploration through hands-on learning.
As part of the night, families can enjoy a rich program of attractions, including:
- Student artwork displayed gallery-style
- An illuminated art space
- Interactive activities spanning science, movement, dance, song, nature, and more
Throughout the afternoon, families will also be able to enjoy:
- Delicious food and drinks from food trucks and a PFA sausage sizzle
- A talented caricature artist (pre-booking required - more information coming next week)

Items for the silent auction can be viewed on the night, in the Main Gallery area in the gymnasium.
Program for the Afternoon
- 4:15pm – Gates open (Elizabeth and Murphy Street entrance)
- 4:30pm – Official Opening Ceremony by Luke in the Gymnasium
- 4:30–6:15pm – Interactive Cross-Curricula Art Activities (map provided on the night)
- 6:15pm – Interactive Activities Close
6:20pm – Closing Ceremony in the Gymnasium
