Leadership Report

Week 1 of Term 4 is already behind us, and there are just 10 weeks left in the school year!

This week, the school felt a little quieter with our 5/6 students away on beach camp. There were plenty of tired faces at pick-up yesterday, but still bursting with energy to share all the highlights: from epic surfing and snorkeling adventures, to meeting Gary the stingray and the quintessential camp damper cooking activity. Teachers may have missed some sleep, thanks to deep cabin chats about the meaning of life, but it sounds like beach camp was a huge success!

A massive thank you to all the teachers who left their families to make this experience unforgettable for our students, what an amazing way to kick off the term.

I promise more photos and classroom insights in next week’s newsletter — but for now, welcome back! We’re looking forward to another incredible term at Newlands.

Thanks,
