Foundation

Welcome back to Term 4!

Our Foundation students have come back so refreshed and ready to learn! We can't wait to see their final term of growth!

In the past 2 weeks we have been learning many new things. 

Literacy

In Phonics, we have learnt that 'y' can make the /ee/ sound and our first split digraph 'a-e'. 

In Reading, we have also been looking at seasons and weather through stories. Students have been identifying the differences between weather and season, what people wear, what they do and what their favourite season is and why. In writing, we have been looking at creating our own story characters and describing them. 

Maths

In Maths we have been looking at collecting and sorting data about weather and seasons, and we have also been learning about sharing equally!
