From The Team

We can’t believe how quickly this term has gone. Time flies when you’re having fun - we sure are in Level 1/2!

We all had a super fun time at our excursion to Healesville Sanctuary last week. It was a fantastic way to end our unit on habitats. We saw lots of animals including emus, koalas, kangaroos, platypuses, a bird show, snakes and other reptiles, and many more! See photos below from our great day out. Thank you to the parent helpers on the day.

We have started our Maths unit on Chance this week, which has been really fun. We have been discussing events which are certain, likely, unlikely and impossible. Encourage your child to discuss some of these events with you - they have some wonderful ideas!

We would like to let you know that Miss Flintoff is going on a 5-week holiday to Europe, leaving on Friday 21st June. She will be away for the last week of this term, and the first two weeks of next term. She is quite excited for her long-awaited holiday to Greece, Spain and Portugal! Sophie Lyon will be taking 1/2F during this time.

We hope you have a wonderful (and well-deserved) long weekend with your family and friends. Stay safe, and we will see you all next week. It’s full steam ahead for the last few weeks of term.

Also, please let us know if you are interested in becoming a parent helper in your child’s classroom. We would appreciate some help in the morning (just for the first 40 minutes during our Morning Rigour sessions) to read with our students. Please let us know your availability.
