Punctuation:

Punctuation are the symbols/marks used in writing to separate sentences and clarify meaning. 

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Children can practise their reading and add appropriate meaning when they come across punctuation (full stops and exclamation marks). 

Take a big breath every time you see a full stop.

Read with excitement when you see an exclamation mark!
