Family Handbook Review

We are very proud to reveal our new Vision and Mission statements for OSHC. We feel these represent our programs and the work we do every day in providing programs for families and children.

July Vacation Care Program

We are planning a Winter Wonderland for the July vacation care program, we will be decorating our room to be a chilling space full of icicles and winter joy. It will include Christmas in July incursion, PJ day, elf workshop construction, mini Olympics, marble run creations, handball, Zumba and a bowling excursion on the last day.

 

Booking forms will be emailed out on Tuesday 4th June, bookings will open for permanent OSHC Families on Tuesday 11th June at 7am. For casual families bookings will open on Monday 17th June at 7am.

OSHC Educator Profiles

Peter Osmond - Bael Leader

 

Peter enjoys the the relationships he has with the children and families that attend OSHC and working with the school staff especially coaching a Grade 6 sports team.

 

Peter has been working for WHPS OSHC since 2012. Pete has a Diploma in OSHC and also studies writing and advertising. Pete enjoys reading and listening to music when he isn’t at OSHC

 

Ruby Allan - Wurneet Leader

 

Ruby values spending time with all of the children and finds the relationships rewarding. She loves to watch the children grow throughout the year and discover themselves within the program.

 

Ruby has been with us since 2022 where she started as an assistant in the Bael (middle) program, and in 2024 has made the choice to stay in OSHC and is running the Wurneet (junior program). Ruby was an ex-student of WHPS and enjoys reading books to relax.

Upcoming Curriculum Days

We have two curriculum days coming up:

 

Friday 14th June - Melbourne Aquarium

Friday 21st June - Caribbean Rollerama

 

We have a limited number of places for each day, please see the attached booking form if you are still needing to make a booking.

Family Holidays and OSHC

A reminder that when you are planning a family holiday, to please let us know so we can ensure the safety of the children attending with educators not looking for children not at school.

 

If a family is taking a holiday for a week or more, you can give us at least 2 weeks’ notice and your fees will be stopped for this period and your booking will be kept for your return date.
