LIBRARY BOOKS

Children and some teachers are alerting me to damage that has been found in books, i.e. tears in pages, drawing in books, pages being torn out, general wear and tear and unfortunately books being wet and returned to the shelf… the result of this is black mould.

Accidents happen, some damage can be fixed easily, could you please let the children know that they can bring this to the attention of their teacher or myself so repairs can happen, thank you.

The shelves are looking lighter, which means that a lot of reading is happening at Great Ryrie Primary School. There are a lot of books that are in the Premiers Reading Challenge in the Library; the children just have to look at the spine of the books to see orange/red dots that have 

P.R.C. with either K-2/3-4/5-6.

BOOK CLUB

Book Club Issue 4 has been distributed to the children; could all orders be placed online via LOOP by WEDNESDAY 12TH June by 4pm, so that delivery will occur before the school holidays. 

Some great activity books and quite a few Graphic Novels are in this brochure; good for some holiday reading, colouring and creating!

I have already processed one batch of orders and am expecting delivery early next week. Thank you in anticipation of your orders.
