Netball

On Friday 31st May we had 33 Primary Students and 12 Secondary students represent us at the Campaspe Netball Tournament. Our Primary teams were lead by 2 coaches each who have been working with our 5/6's all term. We also had a number of umpires from the Secondary College. We are grateful for this partnership with the Secondary College. All students had a great day!

Cross country 

Congratulations to Ava, Cooper and Orly who ran at Regional Cross Country on Tuesday 28th May. The conditions were perfect in St Arnaud which is usually freezing and/or wet for cross country. Ava and Cooper ran great races as did Orly, Orly finished 2nd in and amazing time (just over 7 minutes) and he is now off to State Finals in July.

5/6 PE - SEPEP (Sport Ed, Physical Ed Program)

In PE the 5/6 have been doing SEPEP. It is a competitive sport called thunder hockey it is fun. We have 6 teams The Redz, Blue Storm, Thunder, Underdogs, Class pets and Nameless, we have been doing the classes have been versing the other kids in their class. 

On 28 of May, all grade 5/6 did class v class. Everyone is going hard against each other the fight is hard. We will be doing winners from class v class against teachers. Here are some photos I have taken while everyone’s been playing. ~ Shaynee

Our students have really impressed me by taking on roles and responsibilities within teams. Students have been able to coach and captain teams, taking warm ups and organising subs, equipment and team inspiration. Our scorers and timekeepers are always reliable. Students have demonstrated fantastic understand through umpiring games. We have also had student reporters, one report is above. CONGRATULATIONS to all 5/6 Students! Over the season there were many goal scorers and best ons / best team efforts awarded, below are the awards and goals from the staff v student game.

What's coming up
