Historical Society Visit

On Thursday, the Prep/1s along with the Grade 1/2s visited the Rochester Historical Society Museum. We were given a tour through the exhibits by Kaye, Dot and John. We highly recommend visiting when they celebrate a 150 year milestone later in the year.

A huge thank you for having us!

Clubs wrap up!

Our Clubs have finished for Term 2 and the students have loved engaging in different groups and in different activities. Some highlights for some students are below.

"I liked the Karate club, I like learning something new" ~ Malakai grade 3

"Shelley was a really nice teacher (dance)" ~ Flick grade 3

"I liked learning the front kicks and the round house kicks" ~ Georgi grade 3

Students were able to participate in a club for 4 weeks, these were

  • Golf
  • Dancing
  • Karate / Fitness at the community hall
  • Jewellery making
  • Sports Club
  • Scooters
  • Film Making
  • Minecraft
  • Cooking

The clubs program has been popular with our students and very positive with students mixing across year levels in some clubs, being able to explore our community. We can't wait for next terms clubs! Thank you to our staff who are putting in the extra effort to create these opportunities for our students and thanks to community members.
