Bell Shakespeare Regional Access Workshop and A Midsummer Night's Dream

Students of Years 10 and 11 Drama participated in a Bell Shakespeare workshop geared towards engaging students with Shakespeare's comic play, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Students indicated that they had a fabulous time as they played the roles of a condensed version of the play performed with symbolic props and famous lines from the play. The teaching actor, Dallas, from Bell Shakespeare, had the students work through warm-ups before running through the play. Student participation was fantastic.

A Midsummer Night's Dream - Capitol Theatre Performance

Some students took the opportunity to attend the Bell Shakespeare Capitol Theatre performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream and were delighted by the experience. Many opportunities for live theatre and musicals are available in Tamworth - I encourage you to share the experience with your child.
