House iron-on patches

Getting into the spirit of house athletics next week, students will be coming home with Lok-Lok and Kanyul iron-on patches. These can be ironed onto students' school t-shirts at home below the Ceres logo. Students will come home with these with the eldest child in the family. Students are allocated 2x labels each.

Instructions for the patches are below:

"News from the Nest"

Athletics day is fast approaching and there's been plenty to talk about in the Lok Lok camp!

It's been hard to keep the paparazzi away from our training camp and we know that our friendly rivals at the Kanyul Kangaroos are nervous with some of the reports coming out of our squad.

Pocket Rocket Phoebe T is showing plenty of dash on the track whilst the bustling Jack O looks set to break records in the shot put event!

Keep training hard Eagles as the day is fast approaching and remember, dress up in YELLOW!

In other news, a big congratulations to all our Lok Lok Eagles who participated in the SSA football and netball day. The whisper coming out of Torquay Reserve was that our own Isaac T dominated centre circle in the footy whilst Eliza W showed plenty of class on the court.

Another big fortnight in the nest, well done Eagles.

Remember, Eagles Soar as One!

Kanyul

“Press from the Pouch”

What a big two weeks it has been for the kangaroo mob! With our new and improved name, Kanyul vibes are high and spirits are thriving, getting pumped for the upcoming athletics and house athletics.

As Mr M put out last week, we have a new name to go by - the Kanyul Kangaroos! We are excited to embrace this change and continue to dominate.

During Week 7, the beginning of Reconciliation week, we had so many students from the Kanyul team showing all the Super 7's. Especially at the SSA footy and netball day! Both our footballers and netballers made Ceres so proud, everyone showing Best Effort and Risk Taking throughout the day. Congratulations legends!
