Premier’s Reading Challenge (PRC)

The 2024 Premier’s Reading Challenge is well underway! Please remember books must be recorded on the PRC website to be counted. This must be done before the challenge closes at the end of August. If you need any help logging books online please contact me.

2024 Book of the Year Awards 

We have been lucky enough to purchase a large selection of the 2024 CBCA nominated books. These books are on display in the library for all to enjoy. The books are the top 36 books published in Australia in 2023 which were judged on their ability to engage, educate, and entertain a diverse population of young readers.

‘This year's shortlist lays bare what matters most to young people across Australia through a rich tapestry of genres, themes, and voices, reflecting the dynamic nature of contemporary Australian children's literature’.

Chilly Mornings in the Library!

Students have enjoyed escaping the cold mornings in the library before school. The library is open on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 8:30am. It’s also a perfect time to swap library books!
