Boambee Public School Cross-Country

On Thursday April 11 - the second last day of term 1, Boambee Public School students participated in their annual school cross-country. It was wonderful to witness such a mixture of athleticism and sheer resilience. Well done to all participants. 

Eligible students have since attended the District Cross Country, unfortunately the weather turned very wet and the event was cut short. Once the catch up run has been completed we will post all results.

PSSA Cricket Knockout

In week 1 the Boambee cricket team played their first two rounds of the PSSA Cricket KO. The boys have very little cricket experience, however have been training for this competition for the majority of Term 1. I am very proud to say that they managed to win both matches and will now progress to the 3rd round, which will be played later this term.

Rd1: Boambee PS 1/70 defeated Toormina PS 8/68

Rd2: Boambee PS 8/61 defeated Bonville PS 9/30

We wish them luck in the 3rd round.
