Pokemon Club

Pokémon club has started this term for years 3-6 on Mondays at lunch time. We have been extremely lucky to have Good Games Cannington donate 16 starter decks for us to use. I can't thank them enough for their support as this was a very generous donation and has made this club possible. 

Students are learning what each card does, how the game works and are playing matches against each other. Everyone attending seems to be enjoying themselves so far which is great to see. Students have been customising their own play mats to use during games, it has been great to see their creative side and adaptation to the Pokémon world.  

A reminder that we are using these decks to play, and students do not need to buy any cards or accessories to participate in the school's Pokémon club.

Good Games Cannington is located at 21 Liege St, Cannington (9258 5987). There is also a Good Games a little closer in Joondalup at 2/19 Boas Ave, Joondalup (9300 9549). The Joondalup store had me contact the Cannington store as they have the contacts with the Official Pokémon suppliers. Both stores regularly run social and competitive sessions of Pokémon and a little less regularly they host Learn to Play sessions. Contact the stores if you would like more details.
