First Incursion of the Year: The Lizard Wizard Visit

This week, both three-year-old kindergarten groups—Banksia and Acacia—enjoyed their very first incursion of the year: an exciting, hands-on wildlife experience with The Lizard Wizard!

Led by Monique, the session offered a unique opportunity for the children to learn about and interact with a fascinating range of reptiles and animals. Monique was genuinely impressed by the children’s attentiveness, curiosity, and enthusiastic participation throughout the experience.

One by one, the children were introduced to a variety of creatures—including lizards, a snake, a sugar glider, a green tree frog, and a long-neck turtle. With each introduction, Monique shared interesting facts before inviting the children to gently touch or hold the animals if they felt comfortable. The room was filled with excitement and wonder as the children eagerly engaged with each new animal friend.
