HOUSE ATHLETICS 2024:

On Friday last week, the Grade 3-6 students participated in our annual House Athletics Carnival at Goldsworthy Reserve. All students competed super well in many events such as discus, shot-put, long jump, high-jump, 100M and many more! There was awesome sportsmanship, encouragement and lots of cheering throughout the day, along with plenty of smiles and ALL students should be congratulated for attending and their efforts on the day. Information for District level will be communicated to students by Mr Hambrook over the next couple of weeks as this can sometimes take awhile.

We thank all the wonderful parent helpers who were there on the day. Having you cheer on the students, help them and smile with them along the way made the event even better for everyone! We are so lucky to have amazing helpers at all our events and well done to the staff who assisted at each event- Mr Hambrook greatly appreciates all the help.

Going on 8 years now, our teachers WON the relay race in an ABSOLUTE THRILLER where Mr Urquhart put on his super speed jets in the last 30 metres to chase down the parents who had the gold medal in the bag at the end with parents coming in a close second 😊 Well done to the students who ran in the parent vs staff relay, you did a tremendous job!
