SECONDARY WELLBEING

We are proud to share that all of our secondary students have settled in well and have made strong connections with other students and families. During recess and lunch, we have the wellbeing space connecting into the library where students are welcome to come in and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere with board games, card games, soccer table and colouring activities. With cozy couches and beanbags to sit on to enjoy reading their favourite book whilst mindful music plays softly in the background. It’s a fantastic place for students to unwind and connect with their peers.

We understand that sometimes life can get overwhelming. That's why we've partnered with the Foodbank to ensure all students have access to essential items. If any student ever forgets to pack their lunch, they can rely on us for milk, fresh fruit, and lunch items no questions asked.

We’re also excited to remind every student  at Coaching Parade that our Breakfast Club runs every Tuesday and every second Thursday mornings at our secondary campus.

All students are warmly welcomed and offered a breakfast item on arrival. Thanks to our wonderful volunteers who generously donate their time, we’re able to provide a delicious selection including:

  • Cheese toasties

  • Pancakes

  • Cereal

It’s a great way for students to start the day nourished and ready to learn.

Thank you to our amazing volunteers for making this possible!

SUPPORT SERVICES

If you or someone you know is seeking mental health support and/or resources, below are some options to consider. We understand that mental health is a journey, and it's okay to ask for help when you need it. If you need more specific resources or information, feel free to ask!

Remember, it’s important to take care of ourselves, both students and families alike. If you ever feel burnt out or in need of support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

General Practitioners

Your GP can be a great starting point for mental health concerns. They can provide referrals to specialists or mental health services and can also prescribe medication if necessary.
