This award is presented to Namika for trying so hard in the mornings to come into the classroom with a smile on her face. Namika is a good friend to others, and I am so happy she is in Foundation M. Well done Namika!
This award goes to Ali for the outstanding perseverance and effort he has been showing in Rainbow Maths. His consistent practise, focused attitude and determination to improve is amazing, and we are so proud you Ali. Keep up the fantastic work!
This award is presented to Sienna for the outstanding improvement she has made in Writing. Sienna has worked hard to apply her knowledge of the Write2Read codes to spell new words, and has shown significant growth in her handwriting - especially in remembering not to use capital letters in the middle of words. Sienna, it has been fantastic to see you grow in confidence as a writer. Keep up the wonderful work!
This award goes to Madelyn for demonstrating the HEART value of Excellence in PONT Maths. She worked hard and stayed focused, using the jump strategy to solve addition and subtraction problems. Keep up the great work, Madelyn!
This award goes to Mila for displaying the HEART value of Excellence in Writing. She used the 6+1 Trait of Ideas to brainstorm and research her chosen country, Japan, in preparation for writing an information report. Keep up the great work, Mila!
This award goes to Avah for showing the HEART value of Excellence in her information writing. Avah has put amazing effort into researching and writing her report on a Leadbeater's possum. Her work is well-organised, full of interesting facts, and clearly shows how hard she has worked. Well done, Avah!
This award goes to Kanish for showing the HEART value of Excellence. She is to be recognised for her amazing focus and determination during all classes, especially in Mathematics. Kanish is always aiming to achieve her very best and has an outstanding attitude in the classroom! Great work, Kanish!
Jaxon has been an outstanding leader this term. He consistently models the Scoresby Super 10 by following teacher directions, staying ‘SET’ in class, and building positive relationships with others. Jaxon isn’t just achieving great results in his school work; he also brings energy and warmth to the classroom through his friendly banter and positive attitude. His presence helps create a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone feels valued.
This award goes to Georgia for demonstrating the HEART value of Excellence during Writing. Georgia wrote a wonderful persuasive piece on why children should not own pets. She expressed her arguments using a range of persuasive devices, and applied feedback to improve her writing piece. Well done Georgia!
This award goes to Eason for his awesome persuasive writing piece on why robots should not be allowed to do human jobs. You have demonstrated the HEART value of Excellence by applying our discussions about rebuttals and writing well-supported arguments. This award goes to James for his amazing explanation of what a non Newtonian Fluid is. James was able to explain to his class what Non Newtonian means using technical terms like viscosity and force. Well done James!
This award goes to Madison for her amazing efforts in PE this week. Madison was able to hold a discus correctly and use a swinging arm action to throw a discus. Well done Maddie!

This award goes to Yousef for his creativity and diligence. Yousef designed a fabulous collage of ladybirds in grass. He used the whole paper for his arrangement and worked extra hard to cut out the legs for his bugs. Superb effort Yousef!
This award goes to Medina for her fantastic sculpture of a brolga. Medina thoughtfully selected and arranged a variety of aboriginal symbols to enhance her work. Well done Medina!
