**Please note: A separate application form will need to be completed for each of the following options

Current Year 9 Students

For students who are moving into Year 10, and would like to accelerate into a Unit 1 & 2 (Year 11) subject, please access the appropriate document and MS Form link through Heads of House, House Leaders, Microsoft Teams or on a Compass newsfeed.

Current Year 10 Students

For students who are moving into Year 11, and would like to accelerate into a Unit 3 & 4 (Year 12) subject, please access the appropriate forms and MS Form link through Heads of House, House Leaders, Microsoft Teams or on Compass newsfeed.

External VCE Subjects (eg. Languages, VSV)

Students may be completing a subject external to the College. If this subject is something you wish to continue with as part of your Year 11 and 12 program, you will need to complete an application form for consideration.

This may include a Language school study that you complete each week face to face or online through VSL, Dance or potentially a University Subject or CHES.

Conditions of an External VCE Study Application

1. If successful, your position in the offered VCE study will only be confirmed once you have completed the VASS enrolment form at the beginning of the year. It needs to be submitted to the senior school assistant within the first month of school otherwise enrolment will not be guaranteed.

2. Students are permitted to only enrol in one external subject.

3. As these studies are completed external to the school, they will have their own processes/policies when it comes to learning and wellbeing. Viewbank College cannot guarantee viability of the course or responsibility for the quality of delivery/results.

Vocational Education & Training - VET Units of Study

VET studies allow secondary students to gain practical skills and complete a Certificate II or III qualification in a specific industry while contributing towards the completion of the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), including the VCE Vocational Major. You  will need to complete an expression of interest form if you wish to apply to undertake a VET Study. Please refer to this link for up to date VET course information -2026 online VET handbook .

Please note this online form is for approval at Viewbank College only. There will be another process and application required that will go direct to the VET school, this may be via an online link or hard copy form, Bronwyn Haines will confirm these details in Term 3. This is a competitive process, students and parents must check and respond to emails to be sure to meet deadlines.
