PYP In Action

Juniors have been inquiring into the transdisciplinary theme of ‘Sharing

 the Planet’, with the Central Idea of, ‘Humans have a responsibility for living things.’ 

The students were lucky enough to visit Werribee Zoo to learn more about living things, and the responsibilities of Zoo Victoria when caring for animals. We learnt about animals’ habitats and the various ways we can be ‘Habitat Heroes.’ Students also had the opportunity to care for their own plants in the classroom to further develop their understanding of human’s responsibilities towards living things.
