St John's School Production

“Cinderella and the Rockin’ Fellas”
The excitement is growing as our school production, Cinderella and the Rockin’ Fellas, draws nearer. All of our students have been working hard, rehearsing their scenes and songs, organising costumes, creating props and designing backdrops. Their talents are shining and we cannot wait for you to see all of their efforts in our show at The Round Performing Arts Theatre on Wednesday 2 July!

Costumes
Thank you to all those who have already sent in their child’s costumes. This week we will begin our whole school dress rehearsals, so it is important that all students have their costumes at school. We are looking for additional clothing racks to assist in organising costumes, if you have one that we could borrow, it would be much appreciated!
Rehearsals
This week we will begin whole school rehearsals and all students are expected to participate respectfully and responsibly during these times. On the day of the production, Wednesday 2 July, the whole school will attend The Round for rehearsals. Students can either be dropped at school and walk to The Round with staff, or be dropped at the venue at 9am. There will be staff at The Round signing in and supervising students from 9am. Students can then be picked up from the venue at 2.30pm or from school at 3pm. We encourage students to be dropped and picked up from The Round if possible, as this is a very big day, especially for the younger students.
On the night of the production, students are to arrive at The Round at 6.30pm, dressed in their costume (these will be sent home with them on the day). Additional information regarding drop off points, costumes, etc. will be provided closer to the date.
Thank you for your continued support in making this night one to remember for all of our students. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
