Principal's Message

Mrs Kaileen Carr

Reminders:

  • Please use the crossing when dropping off and picking up children from school. We have had a couple of near misses over the last couple of weeks and we need to keep our students safe and set a good example.
  • Please ensure students are wearing school uniform everyday. This includes school hats and school jumpers.

This week we say goodbye to Amanda. Amanda has been a member of our school community managing the school canteen for many years. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for looking after all the students and staff over the past years and ensuring they have healthy lunch and recess options. We wish you all the best in the future and look forward to hearing about your next adventure.

We are also farewelling Rebecca Ghattas. Rebecca has been at Eglinton for the past 6 years as a Student Learning Support Officer. We wish Rebecca the best of luck with her future endeavours.

On Tuesday 10 June at 6pm we will be holding a parent session about our Restorative Practices Partnership with Real Schools. The flyer below will provide you with further information. We would love to see as many parents as possible so we are able to foster meaningful relationships to support all our students, parents and staff.

At Eglinton we strive to ensure that all teachers, students, parents and community members treat each other with dignity and respect. This is inclusive of drop off and pick up times. The school is committed to building a positive school culture where student, staff and parent wellbeing is a priority. I appreciate your support.
