Canteen News

Hello Team Westbreen,

I would like to introduce myself my name is Deb Clarke. For those that don’t know me, I am a past parent and Westbreen volunteer. I will be the canteen supervisor on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Don’t worry, Bridget will still be in the canteen making all her wonderful food on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

Our canteen is looking for volunteers to help with preparing lunch orders, packing lunch boxes and lunchtime window service. If you can spare some time to help between 9am and 12:30pm on a Monday or Wednesday or Friday for an hour or two, weekly, once a month, or occasionally, all help will be greatly appreciated. All volunteers will be trained by Deb or one of our experienced volunteers. 

Volunteers will need to have a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) card and complete a 5-minute Induction Session with Ms Kerry before starting in the canteen. Kerry is also more than happy to help you obtain your WWCC card if you need help. Go to Working with Children Check to apply for your WWCC card. If you are interested in helping on 1, 2, or all 3 days the canteen is open, please contact me via Kerry.parfett@education.vic.gov.auor call on 03 9306 9481.

Please check that your child's class is correct on all orders, and if Halal products are required, that they are correctly ordered.
