2026 Apple Fair

Apple Fair Update
The countdown is ON, just 10 days to go!Things are coming together beautifully behind the scenes and, excitement is building for the big day.
Silent Auction Our Silent Auction is shaping up to be a big one and new items are being added regularly. You can see what’s currently on offer here: https://www.32auctions.com/applefair2026
A few items already getting people talking include the return of the Date Night package (watch this space for a bidding war!) and our Surf Starter Pack, a bundle of everything a young surfer might need to get started.
Bake Sale
Bake Sale boxes were sent home this week ready to be filled with your favourite homemade goodies. The Bake Sale is a much-loved Apple Fair tradition and always a huge hit on the day.
Don’t have time to bake? Call on grandparents, neighbours or that friend who loves to bake and brag about it.
Goods can be dropped off at the staff room between 9am–4pm on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th.
Please make sure items are:
- In the cardboard trays provided
- Labelled with ingredients
- Dated when baked
Tradie Auction
We’re also calling on any tradies in our community to join our Tradie Auction. No stage performance required, simply nominate a few hours of your time and we’ll auction it off on the day. It’s a fun way to get involved, raise funds for the school and maybe even help someone finally fix that job they’ve been putting off.
Volunteers
Our volunteer roster still has a few gaps. If you’re able to help, even one small shift makes a big difference to the day.
A huge thank you to everyone who has already signed up we really appreciate it.

CALLING ALL TRADIES (WITH A SENSE OF HUMOUR)
The Apple Fair is hosting a Tradies Auction - and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like.
- You take the stage (or not…the MC can spruik on your behalf)- Show your tools of the trade and tell the crowd what you do best.- They bid for 2-4 hours of your time.
We’re not talking big builds, full renovations, or “while you’re here” jobs - think:
- patching a hole in the wall
- poisoning some stubborn weeds
- a bit of handyperson magic
- or even a family haircut
Just small tasks, good fun, and helping out the school.
We’re looking for 10 tradies only, with a couple of builders and a plumber already signed up. Paul Crapp will kick off the proceedings and get those bids started nice and high.
If you’re keen but won’t be there on the day you can still be involved!
