Grade 5 (and Jack!) Rio Carnival Masks/Headresses

After weeks of work, our masks and headresses are nearly complete. The grade 5 girls decided to make theirs out of paper mache, which shortened the amount of time they had to decorate. Hopefully they can find some time to finish them off. The goal for this activity was to create something bright and fun, and everyone acheived that with flying colours. We have now moved onto learning about the Amazon Rainforest, and the wonderful and wacky birds that live there. 

Sharon O'Connell will be running the Art Program while Mrs Tuhan is on long service leave for the next three weeks. Have fun Sharon!
