A MESSAGE FROM THE ENVIRONMENT TEAM  

As you might know, Clean Up Australia Day is coming up on March 1st! It’s a special day where people all across Australia work together to help keep our environment clean and healthy.

To support this important event, our school will be taking action too! On Monday 2nd March, we will be cleaning up around our school grounds. This is a great opportunity for all of us to show respect for our environment and take pride in keeping our school rubbish free.

Even small actions can make a big difference. Picking up rubbish, putting waste in the correct bin, and encouraging others to do the same all help protect our planet.

We have some exciting news! As the weather begins to cool, we’ll be welcoming some new chickens to our school. Our chickens help us reduce food waste and are an important part of our sustainability efforts.

We are also working on creating some updated posters for every classroom to remind everyone what goes in each bin. Recycling, general waste, and chook scraps.

Let’s work together to make our school cleaner, greener and more sustainable.

A MESSAGE FROM THE STUDENT ENGAGEMENT TEAM

On Tuesday 3rd March, we will be having a Funky Hat and Sock Day. So, wear your FUNKIEST bucket hat or wide-brim hat and/or whack on your funkiest socks (And we don’t mean funky smelling).

Please remember to still wear your normal school uniform and shoes, just add the funky accessories.

We will be selling hot dogs and Zooper Doopers this day to fundraise for new hurdles. Available on Qkr! There is a limit of one Zooper Dooper each student. Orders close on 2nd March at 11:00 am.
