Principal's Report

Dear Families,
We have had a busy week with the Swimming Program as well as Parent Teacher Interviews. The kids have thoroughly enjoyed swimming every day and have been learning lots! Just a reminder that there are no pub lunches tomorrow.
GRADE SIX STUDENT LEADERS
All of our Grade Six students are part of leadership groups in the school. They include; Environment Leaders, Sports Leaders, Student Engagement Leaders and Communication Leaders. During Monday's assembly, we will present the Grade Six leaders with their leadership badges. Our assembly on Monday will begin at 2:45pm.
PARENTS & FRIENDS AGM MEETING
A new date has been set for the Parents and Friends AGM. It will be held at school on March 2nd at 7:30pm. We welcome new members! The Parents and Friends group plays an important role in our school. It’s the bridge between families and the school, bringing people together around the shared goal of supporting our children and helping them thrive.
Whether it be fundraising, organising events or lending a hand at school activities, it all makes a difference. The Parents and Friends group reminds us that when families and schools work together, children benefit most—and our whole school becomes a stronger, more connected place. Looking forward to seeing you there!
LEADERSHIP GROUPS
The Environment and Student Engagement Groups have organised activities for next week. On Monday, the Environment Group has organised a 'Clean Up' afternoon for the school, in line with Clean Up Australia Day. All students will do a rubbish pick up around the school grounds from 2:15pm. On Tuesday, the Student Engagement Group has organised a 'Funky Hat and Sock Day.' They encourage all students to wear their favourite wide brimmed hat and socks to accessorise their school uniform. They are selling Hot Dogs and Zooper Doopers on the day with proceeds going towards new hurdles for our school. Orders are open on Qkr! and close at 11:00am Monday.
Have a lovely weekend,
Regards, Filippa
