ePlatform - Digital Library

Good Shepherd School is committed to providing students with rich and engaging learning opportunities. We are pleased to introduce ePlatform, our digital library that provides students with free access to a wide range of eBooks and audiobooks. This online platform compliments our school library where students will attend as a class and borrow regularly.

The Benefits of ePlatform Digital Libraries

Through ePlatform, students have 24/7 access to books, extending the use of our physical school library beyond the classroom. Titles can be borrowed at home, over weekends, while travelling, or during school holidays.

Students of all ages can benefit from ePlatform’s reading and comprehension tools. The platform supports struggling or reluctant readers, students requiring additional learning support, English as an Additional Language learners, and highly capable readers alike.

The digital library includes junior school texts such as decodable and levelled readers, fiction and non-fiction titles, and books aligned with the Victorian Premier’s Reading Challenge.

Books available to students are filtered according to age-appropriate settings. If you come across a text you feel is unsuitable for your child, or if you are unable to access a particular title you would like your child to read, please contact Kellie Cumming via email at kcumming@gswheelershill.catholic.edu.au. All teaching staff have access to the platform to support student learning across the school.

How Does It Work?

  • Junior School students will access ePlatform at school using iPads.
  • Middle and Senior School students will log in using their Chromebooks.
  • At home, students can access ePlatform through:
    • the ePlatform website
    • their Google account (Years 3–6)
    • the ePlatform app

The ePlatform app can be downloaded free of charge from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Families may also access the platform by visiting eplatform.co and selecting School Login – Good Shepherd, or by using the direct link:  https://gsswh.eplatform.co/. Each student will receive their own unique login details, which will be sent home via your child in the coming days.

We look forward to using this online library as another valuable tool to strengthen literacy skills, foster a love of reading, and provide students at Good Shepherd with greater access to a diverse range of texts.

Kind regards,

Kellie Cumming
