UQ Book Fair Bookmark Competition
Congratulations to our UQ Bookmark Competition winners! The bookmarks have just arrived, and we’re so excited to get them into our readers’ hands.
Library Monitors
Our Library Monitors continue to demonstrate outstanding community service and a strong commitment to supporting the daily running of our library.
Our Year 6 monitors have elected their Library Captains. Congratulations to Lucia and Eva on their new leadership roles.
We also welcomed our new Year 5 Monitors for Term 1.
Our Year 6 students have been wonderful mentors, guiding our new monitors through the basics.
With over 60 students nominating, if students didn’t get to join this time, the library will welcome another group of Year 5 monitors to the program at the beginning of Term 2.
QSLA School Library Week
In Week 3 we celebrated Queensland School Library week AND Love your Library Day! Our students wrote or drew us wonderful letters about why they love the Ironside Library.
