Gregor Chen
My name is Gregor Chen, and I am absolutely thrilled to be joining MPS as the Year 3/4 B teacher this year! I have recently graduated with a Master of Teaching from the University of Melbourne. Having taught Year 1 and Year 4 during my previous placements, I am so excited to bring my passion for learning to our Year 3/4 cohort!
A Little About My Background
Before I began my incredible journey as a teacher, I actually worked as a product manager for a furniture company for a couple of years. In that role, I organised large scale office chair exhibitions, collaborated with talented European designers, and travelled overseas for business opportunities!
My Interests & Hobbies Outside of the classroom, I have a few big passions:
Travelling: I absolutely love exploring the world, talking to people from different cultures, and living like a local wherever I go. My all-time favourite places to visit are Canada, the U.A.E., and Malaysia, and last Christmas, I even went on road trips through Japan and Korea!
Fun Facts About Me! 🎢🗣️
As an educator, I firmly believe that every single student has the potential to succeed. My role as a teacher is to guide and facilitate your child's learning journey every step of the way. I am deeply committed to providing a classroom environment that is always safe, beautifully inclusive, and highly engaging for everyone.
I recently graduated with a Master of Teaching from the University of Melbourne! During my undergraduate studies, I also had the incredible opportunity to study at Queen's University in Canada. Experiencing life and education in Canada for 4 years was an amazing adventure that really shaped who I am today.
