What's New in Food Studies?
Good luck to our Food Studies VCE students who will be completing their exam on Monday, 17 November!
Congratulations to all students who have successfully completed Units 3 and 4 – Tyler-Jane Benghamy, Ben, Lily, Noah, Andrew, Ayla, Till, Cooper, Daniel, and Jessica. It’s been a fantastic year filled with laughter, learning, and the creation of many delicious products.
Well done to everyone for your hard work and dedication!
In the Junior School, students have been working on completing their Design Folios.
- Year 7 – Researching food allergies, generating design ideas, producing some amazing muffins and evaluating how they went overall.
- Year 8 – Creating a burger in line with the Australian Guide to Healthy Eating
- Year 9 – Are currently working on a country of their own choice

Year 12 Visual Communication - Reflection
"Throughout the year, we’ve studied and compared two different designers, including things like their design practices and preferred methods, media and materials.
However, we spent majority of the year creating a few of our own designs for presentation. Students studied a variety of fields, including messages, objects, interactive experiences, and environments, which is what I specialised in.
I spent my year developing designs for two folios, which were a house, and a real estate brand and brochure to support it.
Overall, all students have worked hard and created equally unique and amazing designs".
