Welcome to Term 4!

It was wonderful to see everyone return to school, feeling refreshed, reconnecting with friends and teachers, and ready to engage in the final term of 2025.

The start of Term 4 was also a significant moment for our Year 12 students, who completed their secondary school journey last week.

What a week it was! Activities included dress-up days, breakfast with staff, a trip to bowling, and the Final Whole School Assembly. As always, our Year 12 students demonstrated their capability, confidence, and excellence, representing the College beautifully and reminding us of the remarkable young people they’ve become.

We are extremely proud of the Class of 2025 and wish them every success in their upcoming exams and in the exciting futures ahead. Congratulations!

Disability and Inclusion: Updating Student Records – Allied Health and Medical Information

At Scoresby Secondary College, we are committed to ensuring every student can access meaningful learning opportunities in a supportive and inclusive environment.

This term, our Disability and Inclusion team has worked closely with teachers, students, and families to tailor programs, resources, and classroom supports for students with diverse learning needs.

As Term 4 draws to a close, we are updating student records. If there have been any changes or new information regarding your child’s allied health or medical needs, please email the details to scoresby.sc@education.vic.gov.au or submit them to the office. Providing this information ensures our staff can continue to deliver safe, tailored, and effective support for all students.

Wellbeing: Year 8 & 9 Students Lead the Way in Respect

A small group of Year 8 and 9 students are participating in the Expect Respect Program, which teaches positive relationships, effective communication, and respectful conflict resolution.

Through interactive workshops and martial arts activities, students are developing confidence and practical skills to navigate social challenges.

One student shared, “I love doing the martial arts and learning new skills,” while another said, “I am getting better and better each week.”

The program not only supports individual growth but also contributes to a kinder and more respectful school community.

Happy World Teachers’ Day!

Recently we celebrated World Teachers’ Day, a time to recognise and thank our incredible teachers for the difference they make every single day.

At Scoresby Secondary College, our teachers go above and beyond to support, challenge, and encourage our students to strive for their best.

Their dedication, care, and commitment is extraordinary, and we cannot thank them enough for continually improving the learning and wellbeing of all students. Thank you!
