Food Technology
The new Food Technology kitchen, which opened just one week ago, has already made a remarkable impact on students and staff. Featuring an overhead camera and four large screens for live demonstrations, along with sleek stainless-steel benches, the space offers a modern, interactive learning experience. So far, five Year 8 classes have enjoyed their first cooking sessions, preparing caramel mud cakes and pita bread pizzas with enthusiasm and teamwork. Students are fully engaged in this real-life, hands-on opportunity to explore food preparation and kitchen skills.

The new classroom also welcomed a nutritionist, who spoke to Year 9 students about the importance of a balanced diet, enriching their understanding of food and nutrition.

With its innovative design and dynamic atmosphere, the kitchen is more than just a place to cook, it’s a vibrant hub for creativity, collaboration, and nutritional education. It’s already transforming the way students learn and connect with healthy living.
