SWIMMING AT OHR

Swimming has started at the brand new PLC aquatic centre.

The PLC Aquaticprogram is a comprehensive aquatic facility on the Presbyterian Ladies' College (PLC) campus in Melbourne, offering programs in swimming, diving, and artistic swimming for children and adults, regardless of their connection to the school. It features a 50-meter pool, a 18-meter learn-to-swim pool, and diving platforms, with a wide range of classes including learn-to-swim, club swimming, diving, and artistic swimming. The program provides lessons for all ages and skill levels, from beginner infant classes to competitive squads. 

Gr 5/6 HOCKEY DAY at BOX HILL 

The Hockey Day went very well last Friday. Thanks to the schools that were able to commit this year. The kids all seemed to have a great day and the support from the Hockey Club was, as always, top shelf.

For the record, the placings in the divisions were as follows:

Girls' Division: 1st, OHR Blue; 2nd, Our Ladies Gold; 3rd St Anne's Red; 4th, Our Ladies Green.

Boys' Division: 1st, OHR Magpies; 2nd,  St Anne's Power; 3rd Our Ladies Giants; 4th, St Anne's Suns; 5th Our Ladies Hawks; 6th OHR Crows.

Thanks to all of the staff members there supporting the day - your organisation of the kids kept things running on time and ensured a smooth, enjoyable day for all.

DIVING AT PLC Aquatic

A note from Elizabeth Howard Head Diving Coach P.L.C  

Dear Jo,

I am the new Diving Coach at PLC and Shelly  Hawkins has given me your email address in view of your association with PLC through swimming. I am writing to let you know that in addition to swimming programs we also provide a wide range of Diving classes for children in the wider community.

We offer diving classes from beginner to advanced for both boys and girls, with a great team of expert coaches for each level. Students with a background in gymnastics are particularly suited to diving and can quite often make a quick transition to diving.

Our diving program is conducted in our new,  indoor, purpose built heated  pool with 1m and 3m springboards and 1m, 3, and 5m platforms.

Most classes offer a dry land training component with access to full size trampolines, dry boards and a foam pit in our fully equipped gymnasium.

Classes are small and we offer the chance to compete in diving competitions ranging from small in-house meets every term to State and National level competitions where we are very successful.

All interested divers can have a free tryout lesson so we can find the best class for them.
