Co-Curricular - Junior Sport Stage 3

The weekend brought a familiar set of challenges to the boys playing last weekend. Rain and plenty of it. Unfortunately, we had a handful of games cancelled, however the majority of teams managed to get through their games, although in some challenging conditions. Congratulations to all our teams for hanging in there and playing in the rain. Not an easy task for summer sports.

With only three rounds remaining there is still plenty to play for. There are a couple of teams across the codes still in the hunt for an undefeated season. Some teams, playing for pride, picking themselves up after their first losses for the season. Other teams have shown great progress so far this term and are close to their first win after a bit of a drought. Keep working hard boys, for yourselves, your teammate and the College. Keep making memories with your mates and having fun.

An update on upcoming events for Junior School Stage 3 Co-Curricular.

  • The Junior School House Swimming Carnival will be held on Friday 14 November at Birrong Pool. All boys will be bussed to the venue. Parent/carer spectators are reminded of the small entry fee at the pool ($4.90).

  • The Junior School Summer Sport and Representative Presentation Evening will be held on Friday 28 November in the College Gymnasium. The night will commence promptly at 6:00 PM and families are asked to be seated by 5:45 PM. The night is scheduled for a 7:30 PM conclusion.

Over the course of the year the Junior School students involved in the Junior School Justice Group (JSJ) have been working hard to increase the students’ awareness of the importance of sustainable Travel and Recycling. Please see the QR code below that will take you to a short blog that the boys have put together.
