Learning Walks & Talks

This term, our skilled helpful adults have been engaging in Learning Walks and Talks throughout the school, focusing on Reading Groups in our classrooms.

During these visits, staff had the opportunity to step into different learning spaces, observe reading instruction in action, and celebrate the wonderful strategies being used to support our young people's literacy development. The Learning Walks also provided a chance for our skilled, helpful adults to collaborate, share ideas, and reflect on how we can continue to strengthen our reading programs across all year levels.

It was inspiring to see our young people so engaged in their reading—working in small groups, practising comprehension skills, and enjoying the chance to explore new books. These moments highlight the power of collective professional learning, where every staff member contributes to building a strong culture of literacy and lifelong learning.
