REC Message

Bishop Murphy's Visit
We were honoured to welcome Bishop Murphy to our school in Week 2. He spent time visiting several classrooms, sharing stories, and offering blessings to our young people and skilled helpful adults. The young people were truly engaged and appreciative of the Bishop taking time to visit our school.
Confirmation Reflection
We joyfully announce that some of our Year 5 and 6 young people received the Sacrament of Confirmation on 26th of October, in a beautiful celebration. They were sealed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit and now move forward as fully initiated members of the Church community. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the newly Confirmed young people and their families!
Outstanding Year 6 RE Results
We are delighted to announce the exceptional achievement of our Year 6 young people in their recent Religious Education Test! The cohort achieved the highest average score in the entire Diocese, a truly remarkable accomplishment. This fantastic result is a testament to the young people's commitment and the strong partnership between home and school in nurturing faith.
Remembrance Day
Our school marked Remembrance Day with each class holding special liturgies and beautifully decorated poppies and crosses to honour the sacrifices made. We were incredibly proud of Edward and Sophia, who represented the school at the 11 am community service. They read a lovely, heartfelt speech about the significance of the day, reflecting on what Remembrance Day truly means to them.
May God bless you,
Alice Nixon
Religious Education Coordinator
