Teachers' Day Acknowledgement

Last Friday, we observed World Teachers' Day, and I would like to formally acknowledge and thank the dedicated staff here at HPS.

Teaching is a demanding profession, requiring commitment and skill. Our educators consistently bring hard work and effort into their classrooms, focusing on effective teaching and learning. They strive to create environments where students are appropriately challenged and supported.

Their dedication is evident both in long-term planning and in day-to-day engagement. For example, during the curriculum day last Monday, staff collaboratively developed a comprehensive plan for student wellbeing for 2026. And just today, many teachers were actively helping our student leaders run the various activities for Friday Fun Day, ensuring a successful event for all students.

Our teachers are central to the smooth operation of our school and the educational progress of our students. They work diligently, often outside of school hours, to prepare materials and provide necessary support.

Please join me in recognizing the valuable contributions and professionalism our teachers demonstrate every day. Their work is appreciated.

New Addition to our HPS Family

Congratulations to Rob Kennedy and Emily on the birth of their daughter earlier this week. All are doing well and getting used to home life.
