As per tradition, we will run our annual Soap Box Derby on our last school day (Friday, December 19th).

Preps, Juniors, and Middles will compete in the soapbox derby, creating a cardboard vehicle at home that fits two people. In pairs, students will complete the soap box derby track, jumping and weaving through and over different obstacles and swapping spots halfway. If using two boxes, they must be directly attached (not strung together).

Seniors will compete in the Billy Cart Race, creating a billy cart with wheels that can be pushed (not automatically) through the Billy Cart Track. Students must wear helmets.

This is an optional event for students to participate in for students. Sports captains will go around each class and ask who participates in week 8.

For each cohort, Preps, Juniors, Middles, and Seniors, there will be a girls' category and a mixed category. The winners will receive a medal, and all others will receive a participation certificate.

Families are encouraged to come along and spectate on the day, as we finish off a big 2025 with lots of fun and laughter.
