HSC Final Examinations & Major Sporting Pathways Announcement
Today marks the final day of examinations for the HSC class of 2025. Our school community is immensely proud of our graduating Year 12 cohort and celebrates the personal growth and achievements of each student throughout the course of their final year of study in our school. Completing the HSC is a significant milestone, and I take this opportunity to personally congratulate each and every student for their achievements and wish them well as they pursue what’s next for them, be that tertiary study, an apprenticeship, employment, or a gap year. I have every confidence that our graduating students will enter the world beyond school possessing the skills, knowledge, attributes, resilience, values and confidence to thrive.
In a major coup for our school community, I am delighted to announce that Moama Anglican Grammar has been accepted into the Independent, Country, Co-Educational Schools (ICCES) sporting competition from the start of 2026. Formed in 1987, ICCES is a group of the following eight regional independent schools who have joined together to provide extensive competitive sport and co-curricular opportunities for secondary students.
Being a member of ICCES will expand the scope of sporting opportunities for our students, providing access to an extensive range of competitive sporting pathway options. This opportunity means that from the start of 2026, our secondary students will have access to both New South Wales and Victorian representative pathways from interschool, to state, to national level competition.
2026 ICCES representative opportunities include interschool competition in Swimming, Athletics and Cross-Country, AFL Football, Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Golf, Hockey, Netball, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Volleyball, Chess and debating.
It is a most exciting time to be a student at Moama Anglican Grammar!
Kind regards,
Mr Scott Downward
Principal
