The past few weeks have seen a culmination of the year’s hard work by our students as demonstrated outstanding commitment to their learning - Year 12’s having ended their schooling with the final VCAA exams and Years 10 and 11 completing internal examinations. All exams had extremely high attendance rates; we are incredibly proud of their dedication and resilience throughout this period. As we now finish off Commencement Week, students have begun preparing for their 2026 studies, setting strong foundations for the year ahead. We look forward to seeing everyone embrace the new challenges and opportunities that this next phase brings.

Our final day of commencement will conclude with a Colour Run, giving students a chance to celebrate their efforts and finish the 2025 school year with energy and fun.

Wishing all our students and families a safe and happy Summer holiday break.

Congratulations to our Year 12 students on completing their final year of schooling, an incredible milestone 13 years in the making. It was wonderful to finish the year with our Valedictory Dinner, an amazing night of celebration that truly reflected the hard work, resilience, and spirit of this cohort. We wish every student the very best as they head into their next chapter, whether that’s TAFE, university, entering the workforce, or travelling the world. Enjoy your well-earned break, you’ve absolutely earned it.

Congratulations to all of our students who successfully completed Unit 2 and will be progressing into Year 12 VCE and VCE VM next year. Your hard work, commitment, and resilience throughout the year have not gone unnoticed, and we are incredibly proud of each one of you.

This term, students also collaborated on finalising the Year 12 2026 jacket design. Thank you to the talented group who contributed their time and creativity: Mahalqa Shah, Anvi Karwa, Shanzey Minhas, Aarya Deshpandey, and Isha Chintapali. A special congratulations to Mahalqa Shah, whose design received the highest number of votes and will be proudly worn by the 2026 cohort.

In addition to jacket planning, students were focused on completing their Semester 2 exams and participating in commencement activities. We appreciate their dedication during this busy period.

As I step into the Student Manager role at Homestead, I would like to express that it has been a pleasure working with this cohort. I wish each of them the very best for their future.

Well done to all, and we look forward to a positive and successful year ahead.

As we reach the end of another school year, we pause to reflect on the journey our Year 10 students have taken, which was filled with challenge, growth, pride, and countless moments that have shaped them into the young people they are becoming. This year has been more than just classes and assessments, it has been a chapter of shared memories, friendships strengthened, and milestones achieved together.

We are proud of how our Year 10 students have engaged with their Year 10 studies this year by being present in class, engaging with peers, accessing support when needed, and building strong, confident routines.

As we farewell all our Year 10 and look ahead to the next chapter, we extend our heartfelt thanks to every student and family for their support, trust, and partnership. The Year 10 student engagement team wishes everyone a safe, joyful, and restorative holiday break. We cannot wait to see our students shine even brighter in Year 11.
