World Teachers’ Day 2025 – A Heartfelt Thank You

On Friday 28 October, we proudly celebrated World Teachers’ Day, a moment to recognise the dedication, expertise, and heart our staff bring to Homestead Senior Secondary College every single day. It was a wonderful opportunity to pause and acknowledge the people who shape the learning, growth, and purpose of our young people.

A special thank you goes to our School Council, and in particular our Council President, Danielle Rowe, for the incredible pavlova she made for staff. It was a highlight of the day and a generous gesture that truly reflected the warmth of our community.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to Emma from Murnane Print, a valued parent and ongoing supporter of our school. This year, Emma produced the beautifully branded staff umbrellas that were gifted on the day. Her continued contribution enriches our celebrations and strengthens our sense of connection.
