PREMIER’S READING CHALLENGE

The Challenge has started – can you READ the number of books needed to complete the challenge?

1. All students in the Junior School have been registered for the Challenge and grade teachers have the student log-in and passwords for student record books.  A letter will be sent home on Friday.
2. The challenge is to read a certain number of books by September 6, as shown below. Students in Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 can read books by themselves or with someone else.
3. Students enter their reading onto the PRC website.
4. Reading must be verified by the class teacher or the Challenge coordinator (Mrs Dempsey) to verify that the books registered online have been read.
5. All information must be completed online by the date set by September 6, 2024

Number of books students should read to complete the Challenge:

Prep – year 2 

• Number of books: 30
• Number of books from the Challenge book list: 20 or more

Year 3 – year 6

• Number of books: 15
• Number of books from the Challenge book list: 10 or more

Students can read more books than the number set for the Challenge and keep adding these to their reading list.
