Foundation/Grade 1 News

During the last couple of weeks, both Prep and Grade 1 have been learning about information reports, with a focus on specific facts about native Australian animals. This week, both year levels consolidated their learning of this writing aspect. After enjoying some informative videos and class discussions about the characteristics and habits of our native animals, the Prep students completed a cut-and-paste activity, using their newly acquired knowledge to glue the facts. Grade 1 students then extracted highlighted information to complete their own information reports, utilizing their writing skills.
