Welcome back to Term 2.
We have had a lovely start to the term. I have enjoyed speaking to the students and hearing about what they did in the holidays.
It is looking like an extremely busy term, please keep reading the newsletter and looking at the calendar for any upcoming events.
Thanks to the P&C and the Country Fair committee for their donation of the proceeds from the 2024 Country Fair. This money is currently being spent on new English resources for all classrooms. I would like to thank the hard work and kind support given to our school from our parents and community. It is extremely appreciated by staff and students.
The public works for our Cooler Classrooms commenced in the holidays. The electrical boards have been upgraded and the classroom install will commence next week. Classes will need to be relocated to the library and hall for 2 days while these works are happening.
Just a reminder - It is Department of Education policy that there is to be no dogs on site with the exception of support or guide dogs. If this is the case, please attend the office and advise staff that you are on site.
Congratulations to Jimmy Osbourne on being selected to represent the Bathurst District at the Touch Football Western Region Trials next Monday in Dubbo. We also want to congratulate Darcy Williams on representing our school at the Western Rugby Union Trials this week. We wish Jimmy and Darcy all the best for their trials.
Congratulations to the school Netball team who played West Bathurst in the first round of the PSSA Knockout competition today. The team played a great game taking out the win. Thank you to Mrs Charlton our coach and the students for playing such a great game and representing the school in such a positive manner.
