~ First Parish Mass for the term ~

On Friday 3rd May we attended our first Parish Mass of the term. It is always wonderful to see the children involved in singing hymns and taking part in the readings. Usually the senior leaders take on the responsibility of reading, but today the Grade 2/3 students created and led the prayers of intercession. They spoke so clearly and confidently and have raised the bar for others, that's for sure! Our next Mass will be towards the end of the term so keep your eye out here for the date and time.

Catholic Education Week

Catholic Education Week commenced this week. What perfect way to highlight all that makes us unique here at St Joseph's, and to celebrate the distinctive mission of Catholic schools. We had a very successful Open Day on Thursday and it was encouraging to see many new families visiting our learning spaces throughout the day.

~ Sacramental Program ~

Due to such low numbers of children requiring the Sacramental Program this year, we have decided to postpone this years group until next year, so they can form a larger group of children and families who will be completing their Reconciliation, Confirmation and Eucharist. Although sad, the organisation, effort and desire to connect as a community has been considered, and we believe this is the best decision for all involved.
